Lunch at Cafe Sabor

Delicious!!!! I went to lunch with my good friend and it was SO much fun! We went to Cafe Sabor and the food was tasty! It's Mexican food, which is my favorite. The people that work there are super kind and considerate to your needs. We walked in and the customer service happily greeted us. We had an awesome booth inside where our waiter gave us chips and salsa to munch on while we were looking at the menu to decide what to get. I decided to get the chicken quesadillas, and my friend, Shelby, decided to get the supreme burrito! The wait wasn't long at all which was nice because it's never fun waiting for your food forever.

This is the place to go to!

Two choices of salsa!

Looks pretty supreme to me :)

YUM!!!!

We had a great time, and that won't be the last time that I go to Cafe Sabor :)! If you like Mexican food this is the place for you!!

Aggie Basketball!

THE SPECTRUM is so much fun to be in, especially during basketball season. The crowd comes Alive!!!! I have never been to a basketball game with so much energy. The students especially are yelling the WHOLE entire time. IT"S INSANE!!!!!! I love it! The atmosphere is unreal. I have always been told that you don't mess with Aggie fans. I didn't really think much of it until going to the basketball game and then I knew why people made such a big deal about it. Aggie fans are so loyal to their school, future Aggies, and past and current Aggies!

Go Aggies!

My new favorite thing about Utah State University is now the basketball games! The funny thing is I will probably have a new favorite in the next couple of days because Utah State is the place to be. There are so many things to do, try, eat, etc! It's amazing.

Getting a good seat early :)

I have never heard a basketball game that was so loud before until going to and being part of the Aggie basketball experience. We are always chanting something, cheering at the top of our lungs, and having the time of our lives. I mean.....WE GET INTO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everybody wears Aggie attire and it's not just the students that go crazy and get into the games. The WHOLE entire crowd is Crazy!

This is what the Spectrum looked like a half hour before the game!

Some people camp out the night before to get a good spot or get to the Spectrum hours and hours before the game. We are dedicated fans :)!

Check this video out! This is just a taste of what happens in the Spectrum :)!

Trying something new...again!

FOR FREE??!! The other night, some friends and I went miniature golfing at this place just off main street in Logan! We went around nine at night so it was dark outside. The golf course is kind of run down, which made the experience that much better because it was more of a challenge to try to get the golf ball in the hole. Also.....it's FREE all day everyday! At least that's what people tell me ha. On the course there were leaves that covered the ground because of the many trees present. At times we had to move some of the leaves with our feet because we couldn't tell where the hole was at times. The miniature golf course is a little behind and between two fast food restaurants. So if you are looking for a great idea for the night, that's cheap, go get something to eat at one of the two places and then top off the night with miniature golfing which is right next door!

They look so happy to be golfing :)

There was four of us, so we split into teams and played against one another, taking individual scores. I was dragging at the beginning and wasn't doing very well but then....I stepped up my game and was killing it!!!!!!! Ya, well that didn't last so long. I ended up losing by two points. Jeez Louise! Oh well, I'll take them next time, don't you worry :)

This was the hole that I sadly started losing at

Since it was dark though, in the middle of a few trees, and behind a parking lot, I had a few adrenaline rushes haha. The mood and situation keeps you on your toes if you go later in the evening when it is dark and in the fall. It was GREAT!!

Overall, it was an exciting night!

After I barely lost, we went to Hastings to get some hot chocolate. I can't remember the exact title of the drink I got, but it was DELICIOUS!! So if you ever want to branch out of your comfort zone of always getting the same thing, go to Hastings and ask for the drink that has pumpkin, cinnamon, cream and other tasty ingredients and the people taking your order will know what you are talking about :) I was hesitant about getting a pumpkin type of drink, because I usually don't like that, but WOW!! Give it a try!

Have a wonderful day :)!!

Voting up at college!

I CAN VOTE!! Talk about exciting! I registered to vote a while ago and I got some information about it in the mail. I have been watching the presidential debates, and have kept myself updated with what has been going on in the world around me. I finally received my ballot in the mail up at Utah State! I finished filling out the ballot, sealed the envelope and put it in the mail to be sent!! Ha it was great! So DON"T WAIT and VOTE! I am SO proud to be an American :)

Filling out my ballot in my dorm!

Check out this video of the national anthem being sung at the spectrum at Utah State University!

Cleaning the Sink :)

A SINK? That's what I said when I heard about cleaning the sink at Angie's! Do people actually go to the restaurant Angie's and eat ice cream that's piled into a sink?? You better believe it!! Some friends and I went the other night and had a BLAST :)! We went on a night when all of us were craving ice cream. I went with a group of six people so that we could finish the ice cream! If you eat all of the ice cream in the sink than you get an awesome bumper sticker saying that you cleaned the sink at Angie's!

We drove to Angie's and walked through the door, waiting to be seated. We sat in a booth in the corner of the restaurant. I love booths...I really do. Our server for the night got a big smile on her face when we said we wanted to clean the sink. We got to pick THREE toppings to go on top of the ice cream!! Not one..not two..but THREE!!!!! There was no hesitation before we said chocolate, caramel, and Oroes :) :) Those are only the best flavors in the world, so it wasn't hard to come to an agreement.

Yum...Yum...Yum

When our server brought out the sink all of our eyes went big. There was even a cute cherry on the top! It's cute, but I think that the cherries are disgusting so I had my friend eat the cherry. We all grabbed a spoon and went at it!! We paced ourselves though, which is important if you ever go to clean the sink. Bite by bite the ice cream was getting smaller and smaller. Towards the end we started to question ourselves on whether or not we could finish it....but that feeling went away real quickly when Lexie took the last bite!!

Slowly but surely!!

We did it!!!!!!!!!!!!! They awarded us with our bumper sticker, and we were on our way feeling very accomplished :)

What a beautiful bumper sticker!

awesome eating crew :)

Chalk Dance!!

Talk about colorful! I went to the chalk dance last night with friends and it was SO much fun!! The DJ was fantastic and played a lot of great music. There were SOOO many people there, it was CRAZY! Everybody had there hands up, jumping up and down and were dancing their hearts out haha. It started at seven in the evening and went to eleven at night. We dressed in older clothes because the chalk stained your clothes to an extent. I wore a white t-shirt and an old pair of jeans and afterward my clothes looked awesome! The chalk made a cool fading design on my shirt.

Oh Ya!!

Too much fun!!

Everybody looked like walking rainbows after the chalk was thrown!! There were numerous countdowns where everybody with little bags of chalk powder would throw the chalk into the air! When the chalk came down and landed on you it felt like it was raining. It felt wet!! I didn't expect that, but it was saweet!!

So Stinkin Colorful :)

What better than going to a chalk party with friends!

There were people crowd surfing right and left. Someone asked me if I wanted to do it, and I politely said, "No thanks!" haha I will have to work up to that. I had to be careful though because there were numerous times where I would get COMPLETELY stuck in the middle and towards the front! The dance was crammed with people. I would try to shuffle out, but it took FOREVER at times. I lost both of my shoes while being stuck in the middle of the dance crowd. I know I know...how in the world do you lose both shoes?? Well....somehow I managed. That's alright though, they were old shoes anyway :)! I had a great time!!

Second Dam

BBBbbbbbrrrrrr!!!!! I went to Second Dam today with a good friend of mine and it was a blast!!!! We weren't planning to jump in though, but..........WE DID, fully clothed :) It was SO cold! I made my friend jump in first and when he did he was saying that the water felt great. I asked him why he was swimming back to shore really fast then. Cameron replied by saying that he wanted to jump in again...haha YA RIGHT! Of course I believed him though and jumped in. I jumped really high into the air and as soon as I hit the water I could feel my skin literally turn BLUE. Sheesh! I couldn't even breathe! Cameron thought that was pretty funny. I never got out of the water so fast. Even though it was a bit chilly, I would do it again in a heart beat! It was great.

We were SOAKED, but had SO much fun :)

After we got out of the water it felt so nice, it was just pleasant..probably because we were numb. We walked for a while on the trails that were on both sides of the dam. The pathways were BEAUTIFUL!!! There were cool bridges that arched a little bit over the water. When we walked on the trail that hugged the mountain, the trees arched over the trail so it looked like we were walking through a tunnel! The water was so clear and clean that I felt like if I ever got stranded by this dam, I could drink the water and be completely fine. You could see fish swimming around as well! Don't worry, I only saw cute little ones. It was also awesome to see the bottom of the dam, there was marsh that ran across the bottom with random boulders in the water.

Something off a postcard right?

Everywhere we looked there were colorful leaves! RED...YELLOW..GREEN...ORANGE..OH MAN!!!!! I love the fall :) If any of you are bored, make it a priority to go to the different dams in Logan!

OOoohh...AAaahhh :)

It was too good! I hope whoever reads this has a WONDERFUL day!
Oh ya before I forget, I received an email the other day that just made my day :) I hope it makes yours too! Click on the link below!
